My name is Kelly and I live and attend college in Washington DC, a city I love and love to write about. I'm an aspiring journalist and hope someone will give me a job after I graduate. DC eats and products of my mad cooking skills. The brutal truth is that I love to eat and cook, but most of the time I have no idea what I'm doing in the kitchen. So I approach it like most things in life: have a plan, but always be prepared to improvise.

French bulldogs, European royals, sunflowers and hydrangeas, Paris, Harry Potter, the Lorax, my Kodak DSLR, the smell of new cars, "The Princess Bride," office supplies, Audrey Hepburn, chocolate and vanilla twist ice cream with rainbow jimmies, black and white photography, Anthropologie, gruyere cheese, Papyrus birthday cards, headbands, Ann Taylor Loft, "Glee," cardigans, and my Mac.
